AproDerm Gel is a moisturizing gel that you leave on the skin. It helps soothe, hydrate, and protect skin affected by eczema, psoriasis, and other dry skin problems. - Locks in moisture and stops water from escaping. - Draws moisture into the skin. - Creates a protective barrier to reduce dryness and irritation. - It gives strong moisture like an ointment but feels less greasy. - Suitable from birth - Has a greater emollient effect than a cream - Hydrating with a cooling effect as the gel evaporates - Can also be used as a pre-bathing emollient to prevent the skin from drying out further - Provides symptomatic relief for dry, red, inflamed or damaged skin - Suitable for Vegans - Not tested on animals - Dermatologically tested

Active Ingredient

Active Ingredients: Liquid Paraffin (15%) and Isopropyl Myristate (15%) Other Ingredients: Aqua, Glycerin, Polyacrylate-13, Polyisobutene, Polysorbate-20, Phenoxyethanol, Benzoic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin.

Dosage

  • Keep your fingernails short and smooth to prevent skin damage.
  • Wash your hands before applying.
  • Break the tamper evident seal on the pump. Turn the pump in a clockwise direction and press the nozzle down several times to pump the cream on to your hand. The first time that you use AproDerm Gel you may need to press the nozzle up to 10 times before the gel comes out – this is normal.
  • Apply AproDerm Gel regularly, liberally and frequently to the affected area, smoothing onto the skin using gentle strokes and following the direction of hair growth.
  • Do not rub the gel in as this generates heat and can cause further irritation and itching. It can also block the hair follicles, which can cause folliculitis (inflammation of the hair follicles).
  • Leave a thin layer of gel on the skin and simply allow it to be absorbed by your skin – this can take about 10 minutes.
  • Frequency of application will depend on the severity of the skin condition. In general, it is recommended that AproDerm Gel should be applied liberally to the affected areas of the skin on a regular basis and as often as required or as directed by your doctor.
  • AproDerm Gel can be used before bathing to protect the skin from the drying effects of bathing, as well as after bathing to skin that is almost dry to trap in moisture.
