Information
Cetirizine is used to relieve the symptoms of allergic reactions such as:
- Itchy eyes or nose
- Body itching
- Hives break out
- Runny nose
- Watery eyes
The oral solution is the perfect alternative for those who have difficulty swallowing tablets and is easy to administer to children.
Active Ingredient
Each ml of solution contains 1mg of cetirizine hydrchloride. Also contains, glycerol, propylene glycol, sorbitol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) and propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216).
Dosage
- Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years of age: 10ml once daily .
- Children aged 6 to 11 years: either 5ml twice daily or 10ml once daily.
- Children aged between 2 and 5: either 2.5ml twice daily or 5ml once a day.
- Not recommended for children under 2 years of age.
Warnings
Do not take this product if you are allergic to the ingredients or if you: - Are pregnant or breast-feeding - Have severe kidney failure - May cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive or operate machinery. - Avoid alcoholic drink.
Storage Information
- Store at room temperature and keep out of direct sunlight.
- Do not use after the expiry date.
- Use within 6 months of opening.
