Gaviscon tablets work by providing a barrier in the stomach, keeping contents from coming back up
Active Ingredient
Each tablet contains sodium alginate 500mg and potassium bicarbonate 100mg. Also contains Aspartame.
Dosage
For oral use. Chew thoroughly before swallowing
- Adults, elderly and children over 12 years - One or two tablets after meals and at bedtime.
- Children under 12 years - talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine as you may need to take a lower dose.

Warnings
- Avoid if on a low sodium diet or have high blood pressure
- If you have heart or kidney disease, consult your doctor or pharmacist for advice before use.
- If symptoms do not improve after 7 days, stop and consult your doctor or pharmacist

- Store at room temperature, not above 25°C and keep out of direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate.
- Do not use after the expiry date.
