Gaviscon tablets work by providing a barrier in the stomach, keeping contents from coming back up
Active Ingredient
Each tablet contains sodium alginate 250 mg, sodium hydrogen carbonate 133.5 mg and calcium carbonate 80 mg. Also contains Aspartame.
Dosage
For oral use. Chew thoroughly before swallowing
- Adults, elderly and children over 12 years - Two to four tablets after meals and at bedtime.
- Children under 12 years - talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine as you may need to take a lower dose.

Warnings
- Avoid if on a low sodium diet or have high blood pressure
- If symptoms do not improve after 7 days, stop and consult your doctor or pharmacist
Storage Information
- Store at room temperature, not above 25°C and keep out of direct sunlight.
