Piriteze Children’s Hayfever & Allergy Syrup is used to treat the allergic symptoms of - hay fever - itchy or watery eyes, - sneezing and a runny nose - pet allergies - dust allergies - chronic urticaria (hives).

Active Ingredient
The active ingredient is cetirizine hydrochloride.
Dosage
- Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Take two 5 ml spoonful's once daily.
- Children aged between 6 and 12 years: Give one 5 ml spoonful twice daily - morning and evening.
- Children aged between 2 and 6 years: Give half a spoonful (2.5 ml) twice daily - morning and evening.
- Children under 2 years: Not recommended.
- For people with moderate kidney problems: Take one 5 ml spoonful once daily.
Warnings
- At the recommended dose, it does not cause drowsiness in the majority of people. However rare cases of drowsiness have been reported, if affected DO NOT drive or operate machinery.
- Avoid alcohol when taking this medicine.
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
- If symptoms persist or worsen , stop and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
- Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to.
- If you have kidney problems you may need to take a lower dose.
- Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this syrup if you are taking any prescribed medicines; including medicines obtained without a prescription.
Storage Information
- Room temperature and keep out of direct sunlight.
- Do not use after the expiry date.
- Use within 6 months of opening.
