Strepsils Original Lozenges combine a soothing lozenge with two effective antiseptic ingredients to fight infection, and provide fast acting relief to prevent sore throat pain from getting worse. Unlike non-medicated throat sweets, Strepsils lozenges contain medicine that works long after the lozenge is gone and our lozenges are clinically proven to work for up to 2 hours.

Active Ingredient
The active substances are: 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2mg, Amylmetacresol 0.6mg. The other ingredients are: Star anise oil (containing Anisyl Alcohol, d-Limonene and Linalool), peppermint oil (containing d-Limonene), menthol natural or menthol synthetic, tartaric acid, ponceau 4R edicol (E124), carmoisine edicol (E122), liquid sucrose, liquid glucose syrup (containing wheat starch (containing gluten) and Sulphites – Sulphur Dioxide (E2220)), liquid sucrose, water (potable).
Dosage

Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 to 3 hours.

Up to to a maximum of 12 lozenges in 24 hours.

Do not exceed the stated dose.

For oral administration only.

If symptoms persist, have not improved, or have worsened after 3 days, consult a doctor or healthcare professional.

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

Not suitable for children under 6 years.

If you are allergic to any of the ingredients do not use this product.
