Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules provide effective, soothing and targeted relief from painful spasms, bloating, trapped wind, diarrhoea, constipation, stomach cramps and other unpleasant symptoms around your digestive system. 

These capsules are enteric coated which prevent them from being broken down in the stomach, thus reducing the risk of heartburn and indigestion. Once the capsule reaches the lower intestine it slowly releases peppermint oil as it passes through the bowel, acting directly on the muscles of the bowel wall to relax and relieve symptoms.

How to use

Take one capsule three times a day. 

Swallow whole with a drink of water. Do not chew or crush the capsules.

If your symptoms are particularly severe, you can increase your dose to two capsules three times a day. 

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. 

Do not take immediately after food or at the same time as indigestion remedies.

Side effects & Cautions

Like all medications, Colpermin can have side effects, although not everyone will experience them. These include signs of an allergic reaction. If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek medical help immediately:
  • Rash
  • Headache
  • Slow pulse rate
  • Loss of co-ordination
  • Shaking
Other side effects of this medicine include:
  • Heartburn or acid reflux
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Burning sensation in the mouth
  • Anal irritation
If you are pregnant, suspect you are pregnant or breast-feeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. 

Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is: Peppermint oil 0.2 ml.
Other ingredients are: Gelatin, colloidal silica, titanium dioxide (E171), indigotine (E132), Eudragit L, Eudragit S, triethyl citrate, ammonia, monostearin, polyethyleneglycol 4000, talc, purified
water, beeswax, refined arachis (peanut) oil.
